Commercial sales management per planted hectare

The pricing scale will be determined based on data processing costs and the infrastructure required to support monitoring, while also taking into account the price progression per hectare as the farm size increases.

We will assume a base price of R$ 500 monthly for a farm of up to 50 ha, as previously discussed. This amount covers the basic infrastructure needed to monitor these areas, with the system collecting data on soil quality, wetlands, fungal presence, planting potential, irrigation needs, and wildfire risk. From this point on, we will apply a proportional adjustment..

Micro-Farmer Service Plan

1. Farms up to 50 ha (Base Price)

  • Base Price: R$ 500 per month.

2. Farms up to 200 ha

  • For farms up to 200 ha, we can reduce the unit cost per hectare by applying a 10% discount compared to the price per hectare of the 50 ha farm.

  • Price per hectare: R$ 9 per hectare.

  • Estimated monthly price: 200 ha x R$ 9 = R$ 1,800 monthly.

3. Farms up to 600 ha

  • For farms of 600 ha, the price per hectare can be adjusted to R$ 8, applying a 20% discount compared to the initial price.

  • Estimated monthly price: 600 ha x R$ 8 = R$ 4,800 monthly.

Small Farmer Service Plan

4. Farms up to 1,000 ha

  • For farms of 1,000 ha, we can apply a 30% discount, with the price per hectare reduced to R$ 7.

  • Estimated monthly price: 1,000 ha x R$ 7 = R$ 7,000 monthly.

5. Farms up to 5,000 ha

  • For farms of 5,000 ha, the cost per hectare can drop to R$ 6, representing a 40% discount.

  • Estimated monthly price: 5,000 ha x R$ 6 = R$ 30,000 monthly.

6. Farms up to 10,000 ha

  • For farms of 10,000 ha, the price per hectare can be adjusted to R$ 5, with a 50% discount.

  • Estimated monthly price: 10,000 ha x R$ 5 = R$ 50,000 monthly.

7. Farms up to 50,000 ha

  • For farms of 50,000 ha, the cost per hectare can drop to R$ 4, with a 60% discount.

  • Estimated monthly price: 50,000 ha x R$ 4 = R$ 200,000 monthly.

8. Farms up to 100,000 ha

  • For farms of 100,000 ha, the price per hectare can be reduced to R$ 3.5, with a 65% discount.

  • Estimated monthly price: 100,000 ha x R$ 3.5 = R$ 350,000 monthly.

Large Properties, Government, and Major Industries

9. Farms up to 200,000 ha

  • For farms of 200,000 ha, the price per hectare can be adjusted to R$ 3, with a 70% discount.

  • Estimated monthly price: 200,000 ha x R$ 3 = R$ 600,000 monthly.

10. Farms over 200,000 ha

  • For farms with more than 200,000 ha, we apply a negotiated pricing model. The price per hectare can be adjusted to R$ 2.5 or negotiated depending on the need for service customization.

  • Estimated price (negotiated): The total value will depend on the negotiation but may circle around R$ 500,000 monthly (example for a farm with 250,000 ha).

Experience

Based on the specific capabilities of Sentinel-1 (Radar/SAR - which "sees" through clouds and measures texture/moisture) and Sentinel-2 (Optical/Multispectral - which analyzes colors, chlorophyll, and vegetation), here is a list of high-value services that Volaso can offer.

We have divided the services into Crop Health & Pest Control and Soil Monitoring.

Soil Monitoring and Management Services

  • Deep Soil Moisture Mapping (Sentinel-1)

    • What it is: Use of SAR radar to penetrate vegetation cover and measure the dielectric constant of water in the soil.

    • Application: Identify zones that retain too much water (risk of root rot/machinery getting stuck) or too little (water stress/need for irrigation). Works day and night, with or without clouds.

    • Value to the client: Optimization of irrigation and drainage planning.

  • Texture Classification and Management Zones (Sentinel-2)

    • What it is: Use of bare soil imagery (during the off-season) using Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) bands.

    • Application: Differentiate between clay, sandy, and organic matter-rich soil areas. Creation of "Management Zones" for precision agriculture.

    • Value to the client: Fertilizer savings by applying the right dose for each soil type (Variable Rate Application).

  • Erosion and Compaction Monitoring (Sentinel-1 + 2)

    • What it is: Radar detects changes in surface roughness (compaction/smoothing), and optical sensors detect erosion gullies or unwanted exposed soil.

    • Application: Monitor the effectiveness of no-till farming and identify areas where rain is washing away the soil.

    • Value to the client: Preservation of assets (land) and compliance with environmental standards (ESG).

  • Crop Residue and Soil Cover Index (Sentinel-2)

    • What it is: Calculation of specific indices for harvest residues (straw).

    • Application: Verify if the straw left on the soil is sufficient to protect against the sun and maintain moisture for the next crop.

    • Value to the client: Quality assurance for No-Till Farming (Plantio Direto).

  • Early Stress Anomaly Detection (Sentinel-2)

    • What it is: Utilization of the Red Edge bands of Sentinel-2 to calculate indices like NDRE.

    • Application: Unlike common NDVI, NDRE detects subtle drops in chlorophyll caused by the onset of infestations (caterpillars, stink bugs) or fungal diseases before the leaf visibly turns yellow.

    • Value to the client: Enables localized application of pesticides, saving product and preventing spread.

  • Fungal and Mold Risk Mapping (Sentinel-1 + 2)

    • What it is: Data fusion. Sentinel-1 measures excessive moisture in the soil and at the base of the canopy (even through clouds), while Sentinel-2 monitors biomass density.

    • Application: Areas with high leaf density combined with persistent high humidity are incubators for fungi (such as soybean rust). The system generates a "Fungal Risk Alert."

    • Value to the client: Preventive application of fungicides only in critical zones.

  • Nematode Damage Monitoring (Sentinel-2)

    • What it is: Analysis of image time series.

    • Application: Nematodes attack roots, creating patches ("reboleiras") where plants grow less over time. The satellite identifies these circular patterns of low vegetative vigor that persist harvest after harvest.

    • Value to the client: Exact identification of where to treat the soil before the next planting.
